For two days, Wing Fest celebrates the bite-sized savoury snack where foodies can enjoy tasting the best wings in the business. Around 70,000 wings are expected to be served at this year’s event, costing festival-goers just £1 each to try as many as possible.
Chicken conessiours will be asked to vote for the best wings in show, with a panel of expert judges also set to cast their professional opinion.
Other events to get stuck into during the event include BBQ demonstrations, a funfair, live music and a chance to try axe throwing.
Guests wanting to take part in the eating competitions best make sure you come really hungry to win the titles.
This year’s Wing Fest was last held in 2019 and was due to take place in June but covid restrictions resulted in the event being pushed back to Saturday, September 25 and 26.
Wing Fest will take place on First Street, South, Manchester, ticket prices vary depending on what time you arrive.
Early bird arrival between 12-1pm – £17.50 while standard with arrival is from 1pm – £20 and VIP entry costs £95 from 12pm.
VIP entrants will receive VIP seating area and table service, Wings from 10 traders delivered across the day, five drink tokens, a Wing Fest signature trucker hat, t-shirt, and Frank’s RedHot sauce.
