Roma chosen by Qatar to become the PSG of Italy

Eager to expand their European investment to Italy, a Qatari fund have expressed their interest in the purchase of Roma.

The Giallorossi meet all the requirements set by Qatar, as Rome is one of the most popular capital cities on the continent, as well as being a famous tourist attraction.

According to L’Equipe, the Italian club’s president, James Pallotta, has already turned down an offer to sell Roma, but the investors are eager to push for a deal.

Although Qatar Sports Investments group have been owners of Paris Saint-Germain since 2011, the investment will come from another fund to comply with UEFA’s rules.
