A talented football players career is likely finished after he lost his arm in a horrific car crash.
Miami Dolphins defensive lineman, Kendrick Norton, 22, had to have his left arm amputated at the scene of the multiple-car accident in Miami, Florida, on Thursday. He is said to have been trapped in his truck.
Florida Highway Patrol Lt. Alex Camacho says the Ford F250 Norton was driving crashed into a concrete barrier and overturned on State Road 836.
Nortons truck flipped over as a result, police say.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue crews provided help to the NFL star, who had severe injuries to his left arm and was transported to Jackson Memorial Hospitals Ryder Trauma Center, where he remains.
Its understood his condition was not life threatening.
The Florida Highway Patrol said a second vehicle was involved in the crash and that the driver of the 2015 Maserati did not sustain any injuries.
As word of the accident spread, many people shared well wishes for Nortons recovery.

Trinity Christian football coach Verlon Dorminey told News4Jax that Norton, who graduated from Trinity in 2015, was a leader when he was in high school and has always been well-respected.
