Jaffa Cake fans rejoice – your prayers have been answered.
Were assuming that you were praying for a delightful twist on the classic Jaffa Cake in bite-sized form? Because thats exactly what McVities is about to give you.
Take the orangey, chocolatey goodness of a Jaffa Cake and roll it up into a tiny ball – and youve got a nibble.
Whether you eat them one-by-one, or stuff your face with a handful – were pretty sure theyre going to be a hit.
The nibbles are essentially chocolate balls, filled with the classic orange jelly found in normal Jaffa Cakes.
But some purists might take issue.
There is an art to eating a Jaffa Cake, and everyone has their own style. Nibbling off the chocolate first, saving the jelly til the end, or the iconic full-moon, half-moon, total eclipse technique.
Does changing the shape of the Jaffa take away half of the fun?
Were not sure – but however you eat them, were pretty certain theyre going to taste great.
McVities has also said they will be letting customers recycle the packaging via Terracycle, which is a global recycling initiative focusing on typically hard-to-recycle rubbish.
The treats will be on shelves on January 7th, shattering any attempt at a New Years chocolate ban. They will cost £1.50 for a 100g bag or 69p for a 39g bag.
