Karma for tool thief who crashed car after being chased by victim

A man accused of stealing work tools from the back of a van appeared to get his just desserts after crashing..

A man accused of stealing work tools from the back of a van appeared to get his just desserts after crashing his car while attempting to make a quick getaway.

The owner of the tools was filmed chasing after the suspected thief with a shovel, calling him a piece of s**t and and shouting you picked the wrong f*****g car to rob.

Connor Tyrer, 22, saw the entire incident play out from his bedroom window and recorded as the two men argued next to the suspects black VW Golf he had smashed into a tree.

He said: I was just lying on my bed and heard a crash.

I got up and looked out of the window and a bloke got out of a car with a shovel.

There were two people inside the black car, Connor said, while the victim was driving a silver VW Golf seen parked behind it.

Apparently the two people in the black Golf stole tools and the man in the silver Golf caught him and chased him, the witness said.

One of the suspected thieves made a run for it but the other stuck around to feel the full fury of the tool owner.

I just caught him robbing my van. All my f*****g work tools, the lot, the man in a blue hoodie yelled.

All my f*****g gears in here isnt it. Some of us have to work for a living.

He later shouted: Robbing peoples work tools. Low down piece of s**t.

According to Connor, the man did eventually get his tools back out of the black cars boot, before shouting: F*****g £120 each them.

As the suspected thief attempts to drive off, debris from the shell of his car falls to the ground.

The incident played out in Oldham, Greater Manchester, on Sunday afternoon, and according to Connor, police were not called.

The victim did manage to get all of his tools back in the end, Connor said.
