Callum Hudson-Odoi is ready to commit his long-term future to Chelsea if Frank Lampard does indeed return to Stamford Bridge.

The England international had grown frustrated at life in west London under Maurizio Sarri and handed in a transfer request in order to push through a move to Bayern Munich.

With just a year left on his contract, the 18-year-olds future looked set to be a major talking point of Chelseas 2019/20 season with Blues chiefs determined to tie him down to a long-term contract.

Hudson-Odoi is currently sidelined with a ruptured Achilles but Chelsea bosses are willing to hand him the vacant No. 10 shirt, which has been left behind by Eden Hazard after the Belgium international joined Real Madrid.
