Lawrence Okolie claims sparring with Tyson Fury dramatically changed his mind about how the heavyweight will fare against Deontay Wilder.
Fury challenges Wilder for his WBC heavyweight title on Saturday night in Los Angeles, just two fights into his comeback.
The Brit spent over two years out of action before June and Wilder is the favourite to be the first fighter to beat Fury.
Okolie was drafted in as a sparring partner for Fury, as Ben Davison believed the British cruiserweight could imitate Wilders style.
And after several weeks inside Furys camp, Okolie shared his prediction for the heavyweight title clash.
Id say Tyson is on a completely different planet from him [Wilder] in terms of boxing IQ, Okolie told IFL TV.
Before I went out there, I believed Wilder would take him out in four rounds…Fury will either drown him late or win on points.
There were chaotic scenes in Los Angeles on Wednesday as Fury and Wilder clashed at the final press conference.
The fighters and their teams needed to be separated by security and Fury even took off his jacket and shirt during the melee.
I took my shirt off to get involved and frightened them all away, Fury said.
Everyone thinks the rivalry is fake but they can guess again as it nearly went off again.
Wilder thought he needed to spit in my face or whatever he was doing, shouting. He feels pressured, you can see the pressure he is under out there.
